Aaron Rai has not had the greatest start to 2023. Worse, the English golfer has not cracked the top 25 since the Houston Open in November. Results are gradually improving against some odds though. Rai did end up tied for 29th at the Genesis thanks to a 69-68 weekend. That masked a difficult opening 36 holes where Rai wobbled around Even par. Part of that is momentum from putting (136th on tour). The other part is scrambling and save saves. Rai ranks 208th in the sand save department. Dropping a few putts requires avoiding the bunkers for Rai. Rai must play within himself this week. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
