The Indianapolis Colts have requested permission to interview Jacksonville Jaguars passing-game coordinator Jim Bob Cooter for their offensive coordinator job under new head coach Shane Steichen, according to a source. The 38-year-old served as an offensive consultant for the Eagles in the past, giving him a connection with Steichen. The Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers expressed interest in Cooter for their offensive coordinator positions as well. At his introductory press conference this week, Steichen said he would be calling the offensive plays in his first year as the head coach in Indy. Cooter was also the Detroit Lions' offensive coordinator from 2016-18 and called the plays.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
