Rex Ryan has emerged as a top candidate for the Denver Broncos vacant defensive coordinator position. Ryan has been working for ESPN as an analyst since he was fired as the head coach of the Buffalo Bills in 2016. He hasn't served as a defensive coordinator in the NFL since 2008 for the Baltimore Ravens. It's been a minute, but new Broncos head coach Sean Payton seems to like him. The 60-year-old could be replacing Ejiro Evero, who left to become the Carolina Panthers' defensive coordinator. Rex's brother, Rob, served as Payton's defensive coordinator with the New Orleans Saints from 2013-15. Through 12 seasons as a head coach and D coordinator, Rex Ryan's defense ranked in the top 10 in yards allowed nine times.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
