The Indianapolis Colts are scheduling a second interview this weekend with New York Giants defensive coordinator Don "Wink" Martindale for their head-coaching vacancy, according to league sources. The 59-year-old was a candidate for the Giants' head-coaching position in 2020 but lost out to Joe Judge. In his first year in New York in 2022, Martindale's defense improved in sacks per pass attempt, third-down stops, red-zone efficiency and average points allowed per game from the 2021 season. The Giants blitzed at a league-high 39.7 percent this year and finished eighth in the NFL in total quarterback pressures with 155. If Martindale leaves the Giants this offseason, outside linebackers coach Drew Wilkins or defensive backs coach Jerome Henderson could be next in line to replace him as the D coordinator.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
