The New York Jets are meeting with former Denver Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett on Wednesday for their offensive coordinator position, according to sources. Hackett and Jets head coach Robert Saleh were both coaching assistants with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2015 and 2016. He was fired by the Broncos in his first stint as an NFL head coach midway through the season after going 4-11. Hackett was the offensive coordinator in Jacksonville and was hired for the same role with the Green Bay Packers in 2019. Hackett's father Paul served as the Jets' offensive coordinator from 2001 to 2004, so that's another connection he has to the organization. Second-year quarterback Source: ESPN - Dianna Russini
