Mike Williams Expected To Practice This Week
Mike Williams' (back) MRI exam showed no fractures or muscle injuries in his back. Williams is dealing with a contusion, and Staley expects him to return to practice at some point this week. It's great news for the 28-year-old after he was injured in a meaningless Week 18 regular season finale against the Denver Broncos on Sunday. Williams finished the regular season with 63 catches on 93 targets for 895 yards and four touchdowns in 13 games played, and he'll be a critical part of the Bolts offense on wild-card weekend against the Jacksonville Jaguars if he's able to play. If he's limited at all or inactive, Joshua Palmer and DeAndre Carter would handle bigger roles behind Keenan Allen.
