The fun doesn't end with the main slate! It never does, right? We have another eight games in Prime Time this week and not all of them are the usual suspects. We have Alabama hosting Mississippi State in the 7 pm kickoffs, but their partner in that time slot is Air Force hosting Boise. That should be fun!
A half-hour later, South Carolina hosts A&M, Minnesota heads to the white-out in Happy Valley, and East Carolina hosts UCF in a scoreboard-breaker. The 8 pm hour brings the Ralphies in Corvallis, Louisville hosting Pitt, and the purple-lovers dream in Fort Worth. This is going to be a great one!

I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
John Rhys Plumlee, Central Florida ($8,400)
Plumlee broke the slate last Thursday with 55.62 DraftKings points in the rout of Temple. The good part about this game is that ECU's defense isn't a lot better than Temple's, but their offense sure is. The Pirates might be able to match UCF blow-for-blow which gives Plumlee a massive ceiling. He's not going for 55 again, but I wouldn't be surprised if he hits 40.
Adrian Martinez, Kansas State ($8,300)
If you take a look at the passing numbers for Martinez, he looks like he's having a poor season. He only has four touchdown passes, but that doesn't tell any of the story. The Wildcats brought Martinez here to run and run he has. He has at least 50 yards on the ground against every FBS team the Wildcats have faced and has rushed for nine touchdowns. On top of that, he hasn't turned the ball over once in six games. Turnovers were the hallmark of his Nebraska career. Martinez is taking care of the ball and running at will, two things he wasn't encouraged to do in Lincoln.
Haynes King, Texas A&M ($5,500)
Whenever a backup quarterback priced this low puts up 18.12 DraftKings points on a team like Alabama, I take notice. King has been hit-and-miss through his whole Aggies career – it's a big reason why he lost the starting job both last year and this year. However, King won't be looking over his shoulder here. The South Carolina pass defense has been solid this year, but King seems priced too low for what he is capable of.
Also consider: Bryce Young, Alabama ($9,100); Will Rogers, Mississippi State ($7,600); Holton Ahlers, East Carolina ($7,200); Taylen Green, Boise State ($6,100)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Mohamed Ibrahim, Minnesota ($8,400)
You all watched the Penn State-Michigan game last week, right? Michigan's offensive line is better than Minnesota, but the Wolverines' line is also one of the best out there. Minnesota's line is still very good, and Ibrahim is better than either of Michigan's backs. Not that Corum and Edwards are bad...they're not. Ibrahim is just one of the best backs in the country going against a run defense that just got punished.
Israel Abanikanda, Pittsburgh ($8,000)
Let's do a bit of number association. 71. What comes to mind? The 20th prime number? How about the atomic number of Lutetium? Both are true, but wrong in the sense that I'm mentioning it. 71 is the number of DraftKings points that Abanikanda put up in one game in his last outing against Virginia Tech. We probably won't see anything like that again and we won't here either. Louisville's run defense is solid, but solid doesn't do much against Izzy. He is still capable of putting up some big numbers here.
Devon Achane, Texas A&M ($5,600)
Just because Achane didn't do much against Bama doesn't mean I've soured on him. He still caught four passes for the third time this season and averaged four yards a carry. Against Alabama, those are pretty good numbers. South Carolina's run defense has been solid, but I still like the price on Achane here. He had back-to-back 100-yard games on Mississippi State and Arkansas leading into the Alabama game. He should at least flirt with triple digits here.
Damien Martinez, Oregon State ($3,500)
Martinez was the most effective back against Washington State, leading the Beavers with 16 carries and 111 yards. He won't have the backfield all to himself – Deshaun Fenwick is still the starter – but Trey Lowe should be out again, leading to plenty of action for Martinez. If he's effective again, the Beavers will likely ride him against the Ralphies.
Also consider: Jahmyr Gibbs, Alabama ($7,800); Deuce Vaughn, Kansas State ($7,200); Kendre Miller, TCU ($5,900); Jo'quavious Marks, Mississippi State ($5,000)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Isaiah Winstead, East Carolina ($7,400)
Winstead had a monster against Memphis with 154 yards and a touchdown. He now has at least five receptions in every game and has posted at least 50 receiving yards in every game. Considering this should be another high-scoring game, I expect Ahlers to look for Winstead early, often, late, and everything in between. He's not as electric as Ryan O'Keefe, but his floor is much higher.
Quentin Johnston, TCU ($7,000)
A couple of years we wondered what TCU would look like if they had a game-breaker at receiver for Max Duggan to throw to. Now we know. Johnston has 22 receptions for 386 yards and a pair of touchdowns over the last two games. The K-State defense has been solid, but they can be had on the back end. If the TCU line can keep Duggan upright, Johnston could be in for another big game. Considering the line held their own against Oklahoma State, I feel pretty good about those odds.
Phillip Brooks, Kansas State ($4,600)
It took a bit for Adrian Martinez to find his favorite receiver in this offense. It appears to be Brooks. He has 16 receptions for 211 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the three games since the loss to Tulane. This is not a high-volume passing team, but we are seeing Martinez more willing to throw the ball and TCU's defense has been burned deep on several occasions. Brooks is more of a GPP guy, but I really like the price in what should be a very close game.
Moose Muhammad III, Texas A&M ($4,100)
Evan Stewart gets a lot of attention and is still worth a look, but Moose has 12 receptions for 183 yards and a pair of touchdowns over the last two games against Mississippi State and Alabama. Stewart's price feels low as well, but he's more of an all-or-nothing play. Moose is way too cheap for his role in this offense. Play him and get cute elsewhere.
Also consider: Ryan O'Keefe, Central Florida ($7,300); Tre'Shaun Harrison, Oregon State ($6,800); Kobe Hudson, Central Florida ($6,000); C.J. Johnson, East Carolina ($5,400); Malik Knowles, Kansas State ($4,400); Daniel Jackson, Minnesota ($4,000)
College Football DFS Game Stack Options
You know which team stacks are often good, but this isn't baseball. Game stacks can and do work. I prefer more team stacks on this slate, but there is some goodness in one of these games for sure. Which one is it?
Central Florida at East Carolina
Even if you don't plan on a game stack, the two quarterbacks on this slate are among the best you can get. I think you need to run them together for a stack. Keaton Mitchell is the back you want for the Pirates. For UCF, is gets a little tougher. Johnny Richardson is electric, but RJ Harvey seems to have the trust of the coaching staff for change-of-pace and passing downs. He's the way to pay down at RB in a stack. A minimum-priced Harvey also allows us to get both Winstead and O'Keefe at receiver and leaves us $10,400 left for the flex and third receiver slots.
Honorable Mention: Kansas State at TCU
