These Yahoo! lineup recommendations are based on matchups, recent performances, overall upside/talent levels, and other factors such as Vegas odds, home field advantage, and more. Good luck with your Yahoo! DFS lineups!

Yahoo! Quarterback - Week 15 DFS Picks

Colin Kaepernick (at ATL, $35)

Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice... you don't get fooled again. Those are words once spoken by George Bush. I'm going to go ahead and disobey them because I like to make poor decisions. It's a good thing that playing Kaepernick in DFS GPPs isn't one of them. Despite his back-to-back poor outings of just 11.62 and 2.64 points over the past two weeks, Kaepernick is still a terrific value play for GPPs. This is because Kaepernick and company will face the Falcons in a dome in Atlanta. That likely means they will be behind, and that weather won't be an issue. Can you say garbage time hero? I sure can. The Falcons have been great on offense this year, but their defense has been atrocious, allowing 26.5 points per game (the fifth-most in the league). To go along with that, Atlanta has allowed over 275 yards passing and over 101 yards rushing per game. If you're going to play Kaepernick, I suggest that you either run him out there naked, or stack him with Carlos Hyde and Jeremy Kerley. Come on let's try this one more time with feeling!

Philip Rivers (vs OAK, $32)

Rivers has been a bit of an enigma this season, as he's been up and down all year. Last week, he faced a bad Panthers defense and threw 39 times but managed only 10.44 FP. Despite the poor outing, Rivers has managed a solid 17.5 FPPG and is just $32 this week as the Chargers play host to the weak Raiders defense, which has allowed 264.3 passing yards per game (the sixth-most in the league) and 24.6 points per game (the tenth-most). Without their bell cow Melvin Gordon, San Diego will likely lean on the pass, and with wonderful weather conditions (mid-sixties and sunny), they should be fairly successful in their attempts. Join me and get Rivers into some of your lineups as a solid value play.

Yahoo! Running Backs - Week 15 DFS Picks

David Johnson (vs NO, $40)

Johnson has been a fantasy force this season, averaging a staggering 23.5 FPPG. Le'Veon Bell's 23.7 FPPG is the only mark that is higher across the whole league. I believe that Johnson scores more points than Bell this week and is again the FPPG king. Not only does Johnson face a Saints team that allows nearly 100 yards rushing per game, but they also allow just under 200 yards passing per game and 27 points per game (the third most in the league). At $40, he's expensive, but I expect a huge week from DJ that makes him well worth paying up to get.

Kenneth Farrow (vs OAK, $12)

Last week, after Melvin Gordon left the game with a hip injury, Farrow entered and managed a solid 55 yards on 16 carries while also posting six receptions for 23 additional yards. As Gordon seems highly unlikely to play this week, Farrow could be in for a productive day against a shoddy Raiders defense that has allowed 120.2 rushing yards per game, the second-most in the league this season. While Ronnie Hillman is in the picture, he's a new addition to the team and because of that I fully expect Farrow to dominate the carries. At just $12, I love Farrow as a value play in every format as long as Gordon does not play.

Yahoo! Wide Receivers - Week 15 DFS Picks

Tyrell Williams (vs OAK, $23)

Williams has burst onto the scene this season, averaging a solid 11.8 FPPG for the Chargers. Over his past nine games, he's gone over double digits six times-- in two of those games he went over 20 points. This week, the Chargers get the soft Oakland defense at home in sunny San Diego. While other teams face off in the cold and snow, I like Williams and the Chargers this week where it's supposed to be 64* and sunny outside.

Pierre Garcon (vs CAR, $18)

Of the 13 games played this season, Garcon has notched five or more receptions in nine of them and four or more in 11 of them. He's a reliable option with a fairly solid floor at a fairly low cost. This week, the Redskins play host to the Carolina Panthers and their pathetic defense that has allowed 272.4 passing yards per game and 25.9 points per game. While the game time temperature could be rather cold in Hyattsville, MD (where the 'Skins play), Garcon should still see a decent amount of targets and could very well break one of them open.

Yahoo! Tight End - Week 15 DFS Picks

Ladarius Green (at CIN, $17)

Green has been a reliable option the past three weeks, with 20 targets over that span. While he was only able to turn those targets into 10 receptions, I have more faith in him this week against a porous Bengals defense. That is because Cincinnati has allowed the most FP per game when adjusted to strength of schedule. When you also add in that Green has played a higher percentage of snaps every week -- playing over two-thirds of them last week -- I like his chances to succeed. After posting a 2-25 line last week, several people will avoid him to the point where he might even be a contrarian play. Don't be one of those people.

Yahoo! Defense - Week 15 DFS Picks

Green Bay Packers D/ST (at CHI, $14)

If you haven't noticed, the Packers' defense has been much better the past few weeks as they've had their best cover corner Damarious Randall and some guy named Clay Matthews back healthy for the first time in months. Over their last three contests, the Packers have allowed 13 or fewer points per game while notching 10, eight and 19 fantasy points. This week they'll head to Chicago to face the woeful Bears offense in extremely cold conditions. At just $14, Green Bay is an easy value play and I suggest that you join me and get them into all of your lineups. You don't get many layups in DFS, but when you do you need to make sure that you don't miss them.
