Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 10:
Dalton Kincaid, TE, Bills
Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid had a monster game in his team's 28-21 Week 9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, recording six catches for 101 yards and a touchdown on six targets. The 26-year-old has now recorded 27 receptions for 411 yards and four scores on 33 targets across seven games played in 2025.
Kincaid missed Buffalo's Week 6 loss due to an oblique injury and was eased back into the lineup in the team's blowout Week 8 win, their first game back from their bye week. He appeared to be back to full health in Week 9, which is a great sign for both fantasy managers and the Bills. Kincaid profiles as a clear fantasy starter at the tight end position heading into a favorable Week 10 matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
Luke Musgrave, TE, Packers
Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave is set to step up as the team's new TE1 with the unfortunate injury to Tucker Kraft (knee) in Week 9. Kraft is out for the season, and Musgrave becomes the next man up. Musgrave is also not a nobody; he was actually drafted ahead of Kraft in the 2023 NFL draft. Musgrave was the starter for most of his rookie season until an injury opened the door for Kraft. For a team looking for a replacement at the tight end spot after Kraft's injury, Musgrave is a likely candidate and worth the pick-up.
However, fantasy managers should temper their expectations, as Jayden Reed (collarbone, foot) is set to return soon, and the Packers' pass-catchers still include Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Matthew Golden, and now Musgrave. The point being, there are a lot of mouths to feed, and what made Kraft so special was his ability to create yards after catch (15.3 yards per reception). Moving forward, fantasy managers should view Musgrave as a touchdown-dependent TE2.
Theo Johnson, TE, Giants
New York Giants tight end Theo Johnson (shoulder) was upgraded to a full practice participant on Thursday after he was limited in practice on Wednesday, according to Dan Salomone of Giants.com. Johnson apparently injured his shoulder in the Week 9 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, but a return to a full practice on Thursday means he should be ready to roll for a Week 10 contest this Sunday on the road against the Chicago Bears.
The 24-year-old scored his fifth touchdown of the season in addition to three catches for 27 yards on six targets last week with Daniel Bellinger (neck) sidelined. Johnson should remain the Giants' primary pass-catching option at TE, but Bellinger's impending return this weekend takes a little bit of the streaming appeal away.
Johnson has caught more than three passes in a game only twice this year, but he can't be ignored as a TE2 streamer with rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart injecting life into the Giants' offense.
Cade Otton, TE, Buccaneers
With his team dealing with multiple wide receiver injuries, Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton seemingly had a golden opportunity to emerge as a heavy target-earner in Week 8 against the New Orleans Saints. Instead, Otton turned in a modest performance, recording four catches for 40 yards on five targets. Tampa Bay will remain without Mike Evans (collarbone) following its Week 9 bye, but wide receiver Chris Godwin (leg) could make his return in Week 10 against the New England Patriots.
Star running back Bucky Irving (shoulder, foot) could also be back in the mix, which would likely take some short-area targets away from Otton. Otton should still provide a relatively stable floor for fantasy managers when Tampa Bay returns from its bye, but he may have missed his highest-upside window of the season.
