Jordan Lawlar Prospect Update for Fantasy Baseball
On Thursday evening, the Reno Aces announced that Lawlar would be going on the 7-day injured list due to this hamstring injury. Lawlar suffered this injury earlier in the week and even returned to the lineup a few days after. However, he was unable to fully recover and will spend at least a week on IL.
Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status as an extended absence could push back his return to Arizona.

Jordan Lawlar Outlook for Fantasy Baseball
While the former sixth overall pick has posted an underwhelming .080/.179/.080 slash line during his time in the big leagues, Lawlar has been an elite hitter at Triple-A. Through 53 games with the Aces this season, Lawlar has held an elite .319/.410/.583 slash line with 19 doubles, 10 home runs, and 18 stolen bases.
Even though he is currently on the IL, Lawlar could push for a return to the big leagues. In Arizona, star outfielder Corbin Carroll (hand) is on the IL with a fractured wrist and could miss a significant portion of the second half. In addition, third baseman Eugenio Suarez is day-to-day with a hand injury and could even shift to the IL.
Lawlar could provide a much-needed impact bat to their lineup, as both Carroll and Suarez miss several weeks of action. For now, he is worth stashing in all 12+ team leagues.
He's back 😈
