Frank Ammirante's five fantasy football bold predictions for Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season. Expert predictions for Chris Olave, Ashton Jeanty, Tetairoa McMIllan, and more.
It's time for Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season. It's crazy how fast it goes, but you know the saying: it's a sprint, not a marathon!
I nailed one of my Week 3 bold predictions (Chris Olave catches 8+ passes), so let's try to hit another in Week 4.
With that in mind, find out about my Week 4 bold predictions on Jaxson Dart, Quinshon Judkins, TreVeyon Henderson, Ladd McConkey, and Brian Thomas Jr.

Jaxson Dart Throws for 225+ Yards and Rushes for 50+ Yards
Dart is making his NFL debut against the Chargers, taking over for Russell Wilson as Giants' starting quarterback. This is a dual-threat signal-caller with a willingness to fire the ball downfield. It's a fantasy-friendly profile that could result in an immediate impact in all formats.
We saw glimpses of Dart's skills during preseason, where he threw for 372 yards and three touchdowns while adding 52 yards and a score on the ground.
Even while Russ was the starter, head coach Brian Daboll installed some packages for Dart. This was notable because it shows how they wanted to get his playmaking skills on the field. It indicates that while Dart is starting, Daboll will call designed runs for his rookie quarterback. That means more upside on the ground, and we all know about what rushing quarterbacks can do in fantasy.
The matchup against the Chargers isn't easy, but it helps that they're without edge rusher Khalil Mack. With the Giants likely playing from behind as six-point underdogs, there's a good chance that Dart will have more dropbacks, resulting in more opportunities for passing and rushing yards.
If you watched some Giants games this year, you would hear commentators give glowing reports of the coaching staff's thoughts on Dart. They wanted to be patient, but they couldn't wait anymore. This tells me that he's looked terrific in practice.

It wouldn't shock me to see Dart as the main storyline of Week 4 after leading Big Blue to an upset over the Chargers. With that in mind, we'll take Dart to rack up 225+ passing yards and 50+ rushing yards.
Quinshon Judkins Rushes for 100+ Yards
Judkins is off to a terrific start to his rookie season, coming off an excellent performance against an elite Packers defense where he rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries. This is especially notable because Green Bay had been able to shut down Jahmyr Gibbs earlier in the year.
The Browns have immediately inserted Judkins as their bellcow since he returned to the lineup, which demonstrates how highly they think of the Ohio State standout.
This was surprisingly to me, as I thought he'd be eased into action, especially since there was risk of a suspension.
My take on Quinshon Judkins news:

I couldn't have been more wrong on the take above.
Up next is a tough matchup on the road against the Lions. With the Browns as 10-point underdogs, the game script doesn't set up well for Judkins. But it didn't last week, either.
I expect quarterback Joe Flacco to be under constant duress against a Lions defense that just sacked Lamar Jackson seven times. To ease that pressure, looking for Cleveland to try to get their rookie running back involved.
In other words, expect Judkins to be the focal point of the offense in this game. Given that he's averaged 6.1 and 5.2 yards per carry in two starts so far, I'll take a shot on Judkins to eclipse the century mark on the ground in this matchup.
TreVeyon Henderson Puts Up 100+ Total Yards
Henderson has gotten off to a disappointing start to his rookie season, as the Patriots have made Rhamondre Stevenson the lead back in this committee, even sprinkling in some Antonio Gibson. This has resulted in frustrating production for the third/fourth round pick in fantasy football, maxing out at 28 rushing yards.
However, Stevenson fumbled twice and Gibson fumbled once in the Patriots' loss to the Steelers last week. From that point on, Henderson was getting the bulk of the touches in this backfield. I'm going out on a limb in predicting that this will result in a takeover in the Patriots backfield.
That doesn't mean that I'm saying that Henderson will suddenly be the bellcow, but I definitely think that he'll now be the leader of this committee.
Simply put, this Patriots offense needs a big-play threat. There are not enough playmakers in this group. It would be in their best interest to get their rookie running back more involved.
Up next is a terrific matchup at home against the Panthers, who have been gashed on the ground all year. We saw them give up 143 yards to Travis Etienne in Week 1.
If I'm right about an uptick in usage for Henderson, we could be looking at a spike week here.
Ladd McConkey Gets 100+ Receiving Yards
McConkey has gotten off to a poor start for the Chargers, looking more like the WR3 behind Keenan Allen and Quentin Johnston. This has led to frustration among fantasy football players, who have gone as far as selling low on McConkey.
But we have to remember that this is only a three-game sample size. We can't let that affect our views on a player who had such an impressive rookie season, where he put up 82 catches for 1,149 yards and seven touchdowns.
With Justin Herbert playing like an MVP candidate and the Chargers shifting to a more pass-heavy offense, the situation looks great for McConkey. There is enough passing volume to support multiple receivers in this group, and I still view McConkey as the WR1 here.
Up next is an exploitable matchup against the Giants, who have given up big production to Deebo Samuel and CeeDee Lamb this year. Don't be surprised if we see McConkey put up strong production in the underneath and intermediate passing game.
I'm staying patient on McConkey, and you should, too. Don't fall victim to recency bias.
Brian Thomas Jr. Racks Up 100+ Receiving Yards
Thomas Jr. has been one of the biggest busts in fantasy football so far, being held below 60 yards in each of his games so far. But like McConkey, we can't overreact to a small sample. This is a player who had a terrific rookie season, racking up 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns.
While Thomas has been held back by a wrist injury, it hasn't been enough to keep him off the field. That's why I'm boldly predicting a big game from the talented wideout. This is too good a receiver to be held back like this -- it's only a matter of time before he gets going.
Remember, it's a new offense under Liam Coen, so a learning curve should have been expected. In a game where the Jaguars are likely playing from behind against the 49ers, look for Thomas to get back on track.
Don't bench the former LSU star despite the poor start to the season. The spike week can come at any time, and I'm betting that it happens in Week 4. Thomas has the ability to get loose downfield at any moment. Keep him in your lineups this week.
