Kenneth Gainwell Week 13 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 54% of Leagues
Baller Move: Add in All Leagues
This is not something most people will want to read: This may be Kenneth Gainwell's backfield down the stretch.
The aspect of Jaylen Warren's game that made him valuable, the work in the passing game, has vanished. Well, not vanished. It exists, but it exists for Gainwell, not Warren. Gainwell has 13 receptions on 14 targets over the last two games. Warren has two catches on two targets, including zero in the loss to the Chicago Bears.
Warren's fantasy managers would have endured an extreme letdown, if not for Warren subbing in and scoring at the one-yard line after Gainwell galloped 55 yards on a fake tush push.

Gainwell has outsnapped Warren in each of the past three games, whether the touches reflect that or not. He didn't have a single rush attempt in Week 10. He started and had double-digit carries (for the second time this season) in Week 12.
Warren is still the lead rusher: He has at least 10 carries in every game and is averaging 14 over the last three games. We love to see that. But even with the zero-carry effort in Week 10, Gainwell is averaging 16.7 PPR points per game in this stretch. Warren is at 10.9.
Both Gainwell and Warren are in the RB2 range next week against a porous Buffalo run defense. But as long as the catches are going in Gainwell's direction, he's the better of the duo moving forward.
Bhayshul Tuten Week 13 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 48% of Leagues
Baller Move: Add in 12-team leagues
The Tuten takeover failed.
One week after a career-high 15 carries for 74 yards and a touchdown, an online movement (or annointment, if you will) emerged for Bhayshul Tuten to take control of the Jacksonville backfield. Not only did the rookie fail to overtake Travis Etienne Jr., but his touches also regressed to close to his season-long average.
Tuten logged a forgetful seven carries in the overtime win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 12. Etienne, on the other hand, had 18, more than double what Tuten had. Despite the Tuten hype, Week 12 proved that this is still Etienne's backfield (and he's playing well).

It's a disappointing follow-up for Tuten, but there's optimism for his season-long outlook. He's the clear second option in the Jaguars' backfield, which means he's just one injury away from being a weekly RB2. That's enough potential to stash on a bench, especially as insurance for the Etienne fantasy managers.
Tyjae Spears Week 13 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 35% of Leagues
Baller Move: Consider in 14-Team Leagues
If there's one thing to say about Tyjae Spears, it's that he's consistent. That doesn't mean he's consistently good.
Spears has at least three catches in every game since Week 6, his second game of the season. For the most part, that gives PPR fantasy managers approximately eight points. That's his average in the five games, excluding Week 8 when he scored his lone touchdown.
The concerning part for Spears' rest-of-season outlook is that his carries have decreased every game since the aforementioned Week 8 contest. He has a combined seven carries for seven yards in the last two. Tony Pollard, in the meantime, has double-digit carries in all but one game.
Even with the healthy touch count, Pollard is, at best, an RB3, but with little upside. Spears won't get it done either.
The offense is improving. Week 12 was Cam Ward's best game as a professional. It's still not enough to move a Tennessee running back into starting territory - even if one suffers an injury.
