Kyler Murray, Cardinals - Fantasy Football Outlook

Kyler Murray enduring a down year in 2023 made sense. His recovery from a torn ACL late in the 2022 season bled over into his most recent campaign, keeping the former first-overall pick on the sidelines until Week 10. Although there was nothing particularly pretty about his play once he returned (two games with more than one passing touchdown), Murray was still a QB1 (9th) in the games that he played.

As is the case with any other quarterback, rushing production is a cheat code. Murray's 30.5 yards-per-game rushing average was essentially on par with Josh Allen, but that was also the second-lowest mark of Murray's five-year career. A career-low 5.5 carries per game contributed to that number. Flashback to 2022 and Murray was the QB6 and on pace for 679 rushing yards through Week 9.

He was at his best when he had an alpha wide receiver in DeAndre Hopkins to connect with. Marvin Harrison Jr. enters the league with similar hype to Hopkins, plus Trey McBride is one of the league's best receiving tight ends.

The Arizona offense should improve in 2024 with Murray returning to pre-injury form. For those fantasy managers who prefer to wait to select a quarterback, Murray will be a popular mid-round candidate.

- Andrew Ball, RotoBaller

Aaron Rodgers, Jets - Fantasy Football Outlook

2023 was a lost season for New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) after barely making it through three offensive snaps in a Jets uniform. Expectations were sky-high in New York after the signing of Rodgers in the offseason, but a torn Achilles tendon sent his season asunder before gaining any real traction.

In 2024, Rodgers looks to become his old self after an unprecedented rehab for a 40-year-old NFL vet. The last time we saw him play an entire season, it was in Packers' green, but the results differed from what we're accustomed to. In 2022, Rodgers failed to reach the 30-touchdown mark and had one of the worst seasons of his career – throwing for 3,695 yards (career-low) and 12 interceptions (career-high), culminating in an uncharacteristic QB13 finish.

The Jets have a solid group of wide receivers in Garrett Wilson, free agent acquisition Mike Williams (knee), and third-round rookie Malachi Corley. Rodgers' best fantasy days may be far behind him as he climbs in age and works back from a significant injury, making him a better bet in best ball, as a bench quarterback, or a QB2 in superflex leagues with minimal upside in redraft circles.

RotoBaller's quarterback rankings are on board with this assessment, as the veteran is ranked 20th among all signal callers heading into 2024 fantasy football drafts.

- Alex Ciulla, RotoBaller

Will Levis, Titans - Fantasy Football Outlook

The Tennessee Titans have done their best to give quarterback Will Levis (foot) a chance to succeed with the influx of a new coaching staff led by head coach Brian Callahan, an improved offensive line, and the additions of wide receivers Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd and running back Tony Pollard

Veteran DeAndre Hopkins and third-year wide receiver Treylon Burks will also return in 2024. Levis had a rocky rookie season. His decision-making and ability to see pressure were certainly points of concern. However, one could argue that is the case for most rookie quarterbacks. It was not all bad. Levis did his best to protect the ball, only throwing for 1,808 yards with eight touchdowns and four interceptions over nine games. The 24-year-old was slowed by a foot injury late last season.

Most importantly, Levis played with undeniable confidence. In only nine games, Levis finished 17th in deep ball attempts and number one in air yards per attempt. He was not afraid to cut it loose. While throwing it deep was not always the best decision, no one can coach confidence. With coaching refinement and an improved body of weapons around him, Levis should take a step forward. Levis is also a very good athlete with a rushing upside comparable to Justin Herbert.

No one is clamoring for a superstar here, as Levis is currently being drafted as the QB26 and is ranked by RotoBaller as the QB24. However, if Levis can take a step forward as a passer and use his legs as a rusher, he could be a streaming option and solid second quarterback for superflex formats in 2024.

- Quincy Milton III, RotoBaller

Jordan Love, Packers - Fantasy Football Outlook

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love was a revelation in 2023. He started hot, stumbled towards the middle of the season, and finished the season with a stretch run that included 18 passing touchdowns and one interception in eight games.

Overall, he threw for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions while rushing for 247 yards and four scores over 17 games. Those sound like Aaron Rodgers numbers. Love is a capable runner, but he will not blow you away with his legs. However, if Love can keep his rushing baseline of 247 yards and four touchdowns and continue to improve as a passer, he will be a very good fantasy starter.

Let's remember that Love finished the season with the second most passing touchdowns in the NFL with 32. Love has all the weapons at his disposal to continue ascending. If Love plays like he did down the stretch last season for an entire season, this will be a quarterback you want on your fantasy roster. Love's current ADP of 54.83 pits him as the QB8 in fantasy drafts. RotoBaller is slightly lower on Love at QB11.

Either way, Love will not be cheap to acquire, but he could realistically finish ahead of pocket passers such as Joe BurrowDak Prescott, and C.J. Stroud, who are currently being selected ahead of Love.
