Tommy DeVito's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 15 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Tommy DeVito for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12-Team Superflex Formats
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB2
ANALYSIS: Tommy Devito has been an excellent story for the New York/New Jersey area and Giants fans. He has been solid in weeks as a fantasy option, including last week against Green Bay when he had 71 rushing yards and an 81% completion percentage. However, the Giants are up against a solid defense in the Saints this week. They are 7th best against quarterbacks in fantasy this season.
While DeVito's play has been solid, and he could make those intangible plays that lead the Giants to a win, he doesn't project to be a great fantasy option. His last game against a top-10 defense was in Week 12 against the Patriots when he was 25th among quarterbacks in fantasy points.
Even across his six games played, he has only had more than 200 yards in one game. He makes the right plays as a game manager, but I can see a low fantasy output against the Saints' tough defense. The options are limited right now at quarterback, so if you are in a deeper 2QB league, consider him a starter. Otherwise, you should find better options from the waiver wire, with DeVito landing in the low end of the QB2 range.
