When will Deyvison De Los Santos debut for the Diamondbacks? Should I stash De Los Santos in fantasy baseball leagues? Fantasy baseball prospect outlook for the Diamondbacks.
One name that fantasy baseball players are becoming more familiar with by the day is Deyvison De Los Santos.
At just 21 years old, De Los Santos is making a name for himself with his play in the minor leagues. He was dominating Double-A for the first two months of the season and is continuing his strong play even after a promotion to Arizona's Triple-A squad in Reno.
So should fantasy managers be rushing to add him off the waiver wire, or will it take the young third baseman more time to earn his first promotion to the big leagues?
How High Is Deyvison De Los Santos's Fantasy Baseball Potential?
De Los Santos has hit .331 with 27 home runs and 82 RBI across 323 combined at-bats at Double-A and Triple-A this season.
He was hitting an incredible .372 at Double-A before being promoted but has continued to hit for average at the Triple-A level with a .297 average since his arrival. 14 of his home runs came at Double-A while the other 13 have come in the 44 games he's played in Reno.

When Will Deyvison De Los Santos Debut in the Major Leagues?
It remains to be seen how Arizona views their chances to contend for the rest of the season. They are hanging around the .500 mark but have had to endure a lot of injuries to their pitching staff. If they make some moves to improve their current roster, then we could see De Los Santos finish out the year at Triple-A.
But if the D-Backs are sellers and move some players elsewhere, we could see some playing time open up for younger prospects. Right now, De Los Santos is blocked by the veteran Eugenio Suarez, who has had a poor overall season but went into the break swinging a hot bat.
If Suarez struggles down the stretch and De Los Santos continues his torrid pace, we may see him up in August. It's all speculation at this point, but it's clear that the prospect has immense talent and would be worth rostering if he became an everyday player at the MLB level.
De Los Santos is rostered in just 8% of Yahoo! fantasy baseball leagues. Managers in deep formats may want to stash him now, but those in shallower formats can wait and see what Arizona does in the coming weeks.
