PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Max Scherzer more than 7.5 strikeouts
Max has struck out eight or more batters in five of his previous six starts and has only allowed more than two earned runs in two of his previous eight starts. He has a solid matchup against the Brewers tonight, who are posting a 27.4% K rate vs. right-handers over the previous two weeks, which is ranked third-worst in the league. They are also posting just a 75 wRC+ mark over this same span, which should help Scherzer in that aforementioned earned runs department, allowing him to stay in the game longer.
Patrick Sandoval more than 5.0 strikeouts
Sandoval has eclipsed this total in each of his two previous starts and has a relatively solid matchup against the White Sox this afternoon. Over the previous two weeks, Chicago is posting just a 57 wRC+ mark vs. Southpaws, which ranks fourth-worst in the league. They are also striking out at a clip of 23.4%, which should be high enough for Sandoval to get six or seven in this one. The fact that it is an early start in California should also help his chances in this one.
Shane Bieber more than 5.5 strikeouts
This is a tad risky as I do not quite trust Shane Bieber, however, he has looked good in the strikeout department recently as he has now struck out eight or more batters in two of his previous three starts. He will be facing the Royals this afternoon, who are striking out at a clip of 25.6% vs. right-handers over the previous two weeks, which ranks seventh-worst in the league over that span. They are also walking at a rate below 8% and posting a sub-100 wRC+ mark over that same span. This one will likely be close, but given his recent trends, this is definitely a number he is capable of eclipsing.
