Zack Greinke Pushed Back To Saturday
6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said that starting pitcher Zack Greinke (neck) will have his next start pushed back from Friday to Saturday against the Blue Jays to give him an extra day to deal with neck stiffness he experienced on Saturday against the Mets. Greinke uncharacteristically gave up four earned runs in four innings to the Mets this weekend, but he's been lights-out the rest of the year. He has gone 6-2 with a 3.09 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 75 strikeouts in 81 2/3 innings (13 starts). Greinke will be a very good play against Toronto this weekend.
