Japanese right-handed pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto is expected to be posted by the Orix Buffaloes of Nippon Professional Baseball on Monday, according to a source. It means that the 45-day negotiating window for MLB teams will start on Tuesday. Yamamoto is the hottest name on the market making the jump to the majors from overseas this offseason, and the 25-year-old is expected to command a deal in excess of $200 million. Since 2017 with the Buffaloes, he's gone 70-29 and has succeeded with a wide range of breaking pitches and a fastball in the mid-90s. There will be no shortage of suitors for Yamamoto, who will be in play right away in 2024 in all fantasy leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
