Tylor Megill Begins Rehab Assignment
Tylor Megill (elbow) began a rehab assignment for Double-A Binghamton on Tuesday. Megill struck out four batters over 1 2/3 scoreless innings while getting his pitch count up to 41 pitches. He did give up three hits and a walk. Megill is rehabbing back from a right elbow sprain and should need a few more rehab starts before being activated from the IL. Megill had a solid season when he went down mid-June with his injury. Over 14 starts, he racked up 89 strikeouts over 68 innings with a respectable 3.95 ERA and 1.36 WHIP.
