Tyler O'Neill Exits With Right-Wrist Discomfort
Tyler O'Neill (wrist) exited Tuesday's game against the Phillies in the bottom of the sixth inning with right-wrist discomfort. He was replaced in right field by 29-year-old Ryan Noda. O'Neill went 0-for-2 with a popout and a groundout before leaving. The 29-year-old slugger from Canada is slashing .210/.293/.434 with eight home runs through 43 games. He has struggled to stay in the lineup consistently, and with his health once again in question, the Orioles will be without one of their top right-handed power threats for at least the near future. UPDATE: O'Neill said X-rays came back negative on his wrist after he jammed it on the wall. He taped up his wrist and had another at-bat before eventually being pulled from Tuesday's game. O'Neill will see how he feels on Wednesday.
