Tyler Glasnow Throws Bullpen Sunday
2 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow (illness) threw his normal bullpen session on Sunday after a stomach bug sidelined him on Saturday. Manager Kevin Cash called it the best bullpen he's seen Glasnow throw because of how he filled up the strike zone. The 29-year-old right-hander was recovering from Tommy John surgery for most of last year, but he was able to make two starts at the end of the season for Tampa. He then signed a two-year, $30 million extension to stay with the team through 2024. Glasnow is a fascinating fantasy option in 2023. When he's right, he has ace potential, but it's understandable to be wary of taking him because of the fact that he only made two starts in 2022. Glasnow has yet to go over 140 innings in any season.
