Trevor Story Will Take Part In Home Run Derby
3 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story said that he will participate in this year's Home Run Derby. With the All-Star festivities taking place at Coors Field in Colorado this year, Story will predictably be the team's representative in the Derby. Fantasy managers have been a bit disappointed with the 28-year-old this year from a power perspective, but he still remains one of the better fantasy options at his position. He's slashing .254/.327/.443 with a .770 OPS, nine home runs, 38 runs scored, 34 RBI and 14 stolen bases in 275 plate appearances over 66 games so far in 2021. Story has been better the last two weeks, hitting .326 with four home runs and 11 RBI in 12 games. But with a .184/.279/.368 slash line on the road, managers are getting nervous with the trade deadline approaching, as the Rockies are widely expected to deal him this summer.
