Trevor Lawrence Could Finally Take Big Leap In 2025
Trevor Lawrence will have two huge luxuries in 2025 that he hasn't yet in his career. The first is a great tandem of wide receivers -- Brian Thomas Jr., who was unstoppable in 2024, and rookie WR/CB Travis Hunter, who the team traded up to take second overall -- and a competent offensive-minded coaching staff. Liam Coen, the offensive coordinator of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2024, ran one of the league's best offenses, both in passing and rushing. Lawrence has languished under the tyranny of Darrell Bevell and Press Taylor, two offensive coordinators that should have never had the jobs they possessed for the Jags. Now, Lawrence should put up the best numbers of his career. He's shown flashes of excellent QB play, but has failed to find consistency, a problem that many QBs with poor coaching staffs face. The offensive line still needs some work, but that's always been the case for the Jaguars. Lawrence should finish the year as a QB1 in fantasy football -- he has minor rushing upside to add as well.
