6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Tony Kemp will get the start and play left field Friday night against the White Sox. Kemp will hit ninth and gets the start with the White Sox sending right-hander Reynaldo Lopez to the mound. Kemp has been a spark plug at the bottom of the order for Houston and is hitting .299 with 12 runs scored in 77 at-bats against right-handed pitching this season. For the season, Kemp is hitting .301 with two home runs, six doubles, 14 walks, 14 runs scored, 14 runs driven in and a .387 on-base percentage through 103 at-bats. Kemp can provide speed and an above-average ability to get on base but lacks the kind of power that can really help a fantasy roster.--Joey C - RotoBaller
