Dylan Crews Staying on Rehab Assignment
Dylan Crews (oblique) will stay on his rehab assignment with Triple-A Rochester through at least Wednesday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports. Crews, who has been on the injured list with a strained left oblique since May 21, has already played 11 games with Rochester. He just returned to playing nine innings in the outfield, though, and the Nationals want the 23-year-old to continue working on his timing at the plate. Crews has gone a productive 10-for-36 with two home rune, seven RBI, six strikeouts, and one walk with Rochester. With the Nationals, the former second overall pick slumped to a .196/.266/.354 line with seven homers, 15 RBI, 24 runs scored, and 11 stolen bases in 173 plate appearances before going on the IL.
