Tommy Pham Expects To Play Thursday
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Tommy Pham (calf) said he ran on Wednesday and has been cleared to play. He's been dealing with a calf strain but expects to be in the starting lineup on Thursday. "1,000 percent," Pham said. The talented outfielder hasn't played since last Thursday, but it looks like he'll avoid a trip to the injured list. Pham is hitting .300/.414/.483 with eight home runs, 26 runs, 25 RBI and six stolen bases in 244 plate appearances in his first full season with Tampa. He's a must-start in season-long leagues anytime he's in the starting lineup.
