Tommy Edman Dealing With Wrist Discomfort
1 year agoUpdating a previous report, St. Louis Cardinals infielder/outfielder Tommy Edman (wrist) was scratched from Wednesday's lineup against the Miami Marlins due to right-wrist discomfort. Until we get more updates on Edman's condition, fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day moving forward. Hopefully, he'll be able to return to the field for Thursday's series finale against the Fish. The 28-year-old switch-hitter is a lineup regular for the Cardinals when he's healthy, and he's hitting .255 (12-for-47) with no homers, two doubles, a triple, three RBI and two stolen bases in his last 13 games. Speed is his greatest asset for fantasy managers, as he's swiped 14 bags in 82 total games in 2023.
