New York Mets pitching prospect Jonah Tong has pitched so well this season, especially in his two recent starts at Triple-A, that he is increasingly becoming one of the team's considerations for a September call-up. The Mets' fourth-ranked prospect leads all minor leaguers in strikeouts with 179, posting a 1.43 ERA and 0.92 WHIP in 22 starts this year, which includes his only two starts at Triple-A in which the righty has thrown 11 2/3 shutout innings with a 17:3 K:BB. With a debut possible within the next month, the 22-year-old would become a top prospect stash in redraft leagues, so managers with an available bench spot or an NA slot should consider snagging him off the waiver wire ahead of a potential call-up.--Jarod RuppRead More News
