5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals infielder Tommy Edman finished his surprisingly successful season with a bang, slashing .410/.486/.738 over his last 61 at-bats. Edman's fantastic play has forced the Cardinals coaching staff to find a spot in the lineup for him on a daily basis and the 24-year-old is ready to play a role in the playoffs. Edman posted a 1.078 OPS in the month of September and will now face Braves left-handed starter, Dallas Keuchel, in Game 1. Edman torched lefties to the tune of a .321 batting average with three triples, four doubles and four home runs across 84 at-bats. Edman is an intriguing fantasy asset heading into postseason play.
