Tom Hoge has been one of the steadier players in 2025, missing just one cut and recording six top-20 finishes through 14 events. He looks to continue that consistency at the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow, though his track record here is less than impressive—he's missed the cut twice and his best finish is T38 in six starts at this course. To improve on that, Hoge will need to be long off the tee and accurate with his long irons. While he ranks 151st in driving distance, he compensates with a reliable iron game, ranking 20th in strokes gained per round on approach (plus-0.531). He is also in the 95th percentile for proximity from 150–200 yards over the past 12 months, a key range at Quail Hollow that accounts for over 42% of approach shots. The concern, however, is his struggles off the tee (minus-0.569 strokes gained per round) and from tee to green (minus-0.134). Given his poor record at this course and lack of success in majors, fantasy managers and bettors may want to avoid Hoge this week.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller
