4 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Todd Gurley II (knee) and defensive end Dante Fowler (hamstring) were both limited in practice on Wednesday. Gurley missed Week 12 and returned to run the ball just eight times for a season-low 16 yards in the loss to New Orleans. It was his second straight game with only eight carries, the first time all season that he has had single-digit rushing attempts. Fantasy managers saw this coming when Gurley first popped up on the injury report with a knee ailment, as he had his issues with the same injury in his time with the Rams. The 26-year-old was used strictly on third downs and in the red zone last week. That could happen again in Week 14 against the Chargers, making him a touchdown-dependent, low-volume R3/4.
