Titans Eyeing Three-Headed Approach to Backfield?
Tony Pollard carried the ball a lot last year. In a perfect world, Callahan said the team needs a more even split in the backfield with Pollard, Tyjae Spears and possibly a third back. This sounds like a nightmare for fantasy managers targeting the Tennessee backfield, especially with rookie quarterback Cam Ward set to lead the offense in 2025. If Tennessee doesn't add a back off the street, the third RB that could be involved alongside Pollard and Spears could be rookie Kalel Mullings, a converted linebacker who ran for 1,170 yards and 13 touchdowns on 221 carries in 2024. The Titans' offense relied heavily on the 28-year-old Pollard last year in his first year with the team, but fantasy managers should not be expecting that same type of volume this season.
