Tim Patrick Takes Part In Offseason Practices
1 year agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick (knee), who tore his ACL before the start of last season, was already participating in full-team drills during organized team activities and mandatory minicamp, leaving him on pace to be ready for the regular season opener on Sept. 10 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Patrick, who gained chemistry with quarterback Russell Wilson before his injury last offseason, is the team's best blocker at the position. He can also help head coach Sean Payton create mismatches when they use him in the slot. The 29-year-old doesn't expect to be worked back slowly into the offense. His return will be huge for Wilson and the Broncos offense as a whole, but Patrick may struggle to produce consistently in fantasy with Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton in front of him.
