Tim Patrick Believed To Have Torn Achilles
1 year agoUpdating previous reports, Denver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick (Achilles) is believed to have suffered a season-ending torn left Achilles at training camp practice on Monday, according to sources. Patrick suffered a non-contact injury on Monday and had to be carted off the field, and now he's expected to miss his second straight season after tearing his ACL in training camp in 2022. It's a really tough blow for a Broncos offense hoping to improve after an extremely disappointing campaign last year in quarterback Russell Wilson's first season with the team. KJ Hamler (heart, pectoral) and rookie Marvin Mims Jr. (hamstring) are also dealing with injuries in camp. Marquez Callaway and Kendall Hinton will be competing with them for the No. 3 role now behind Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton.
