Tim Anderson, Yoan Moncada To Hit At Top Of Lineup
5 years agoChicago White Sox manager Rick Renteria said he's leaning towards shortstop Tim Anderson and second baseman/third baseman Yoan Moncada hitting in the first two spots in the lineup. Anderson hit a career-high .335 while slamming 18 home runs, driving in 56 and stealing 17 bases in 123 games. Moncada also had an excellent season, slashing .315/.367/.548 with 25 home runs, 79 RBI and 10 swipes in 511 at-bats. Neither player had much time in the leadoff spot in 2019, but both excelled in the No. 2 hole. With an improved White Sox lineup from top to bottom, both Anderson and Moncada are intriguing infield options for fantasy owners. Anderson must learn to take more walks, though, if he hopes to hit over .300 again. Moncada ranks as RotoBaller's No. 8 fantasy third baseman behind Manny Machado.
