Terron Armstead Won't Need Surgery
1 year agoMiami Dolphins offensive tackle Terron Armstead (leg), who was carted off the field at training camp practice on Thursday, will not need surgery and will work to be ready for Week 1 of the regular season, according to a source. It's a positive development for the Dolphins' starting left tackle after what was a scary situation at practice earlier on Thursday. The 32-year-old has had his fair share of injuries during his 10-year career and has never played in a full season, but he's been strong when on the field and has been a Pro Bowler in four of the last five seasons. In his first year in Miami in 2022, Armstead started 13 games and was solid on the left side of the team's offensive line. Even if he's not ready for Week 1, it doesn't sound like Armstead will be out for too long.
