Tanner Scott Begins Throwing Progression
Tanner Scott (elbow) began a throwing progression on Tuesday, according to manager Dave Roberts. This is a positive step forward for Scott who is working his way back from an elbow inflammation issue. The expectation is that Scott is going to need at least a few weeks to ramp up again. He figures to be back in the mix by the end of August. That being said, the Dodgers might want to make a move to add another high leverage arm while he's out. For now, Blake Treinen, Ben Casparius, and Alex Vesia will handle the bulk of the closing duties. For now, fantasy managers should continue to hold Scott on their IR until there's a better timetable available.
