Sam Hubbard Expected To Miss A Few Weeks
2 years agoCincinnati Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard (calf) is expected to miss a few weeks because of the left calf injury he suffered in the Week 15 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, according to a source. The hope is that he can make it back for the postseason. Hubbard is a key pass-rusher for the Bengals, having started every game while picking up 6.5 sacks this year. The 27-year-old also has recorded 57 tackles (33 solo), 11 tackles for loss, 21 QB hits, three passes defensed and a forced fumble in 14 starts as the No. 14 defensive lineman in IDP fantasy formats. With Hubbard potentially out for the final three regular season games, Cameron Sample will move into a substantial role on Cincy's defensive line.
