Sal Frelick Returns To Face Pirates
1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers rookie outfielder Sal Frelick (leg) is back in the starting lineup on Thursday, starting in right field and batting fifth against Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Mitch Keller. Frelick hit the outfield wall hard on Tuesday and sat out on Wednesday against the Washington Nationals, but he'll be back in there on Thursday for the start of a four-game series against the Bucs. The team's No. 2 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, has seven hits in his first 30 major-league at-bats with a home run, a double, four RBI and nine runs scored in 11 games to this point. The 23-year-old lefty hitter has excellent bat-to-ball skills thanks to a short stroke, and he also has plus speed. As long as he continues playing regularly for Milwaukee, he'll be an option in mixed fantasy leagues the rest of the way.
