Sal Frelick Out Wednesday, X-Rays Come Back Negative
1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers rookie outfielder Sal Frelick is getting the day off on Wednesday against the Washington Nationals after crashing into the right-field wall on Tuesday night. Frelick said he's pretty bruised up, but X-rays came back negative, so he should be considered day-to-day for now. Fantasy managers will want to check back on Thursday to see if he's available for the start of a series against the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates. The 23-year-old has held his own so far in his first 10 major-league games with the Brew Crew, going 7-for-29 with a home run, a double, four RBI and nine runs scored in 40 plate appearances. Frelick has walked nine times and only struck out six times in the early going of his MLB career.
