9 months agoFree-agent wide receiver Dez Bryant left his workout with the New Orleans Saints on Tuesday without a contract, but the Saints liked what they saw and the two sides are negotiating a deal, according to sources. Bryant showed signs of rapid decline his last two seasons with the Cowboys, but he remains a big-bodied and experienced receiver. It's clear the Saints aren't impressed with the depth behind Michael Thomas and rookie Tre'Quan Smith, as Cameron Meredith and Austin Carr haven't made an impact this season. Bryant would have an opportunity to leapfrog them both and serve as the No. 3 wideout in a high-scoring offense, so that'd give him immediate fantasy appeal, at least as a stash for receiver-needy owners. Stay tuned.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
