Ryan Ritter Hits 15th Homer on Thursday
Ryan Ritter went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a 10-3 win against Triple-A Sugar Land. Ritter has had an outstanding season overall, but has been on another level in May. The 24-year-old is slashing .374/.436/.890 with 11 home runs in 91 at-bats. The quality of contact on the season looks strong, with a 42 percent hard-hit rate and 14 percent barrel rate. He's displayed a good approach to supplement his power, with a 17:10 K:BB in May as well. Ritter could be called up to help the Rockies' poor offense at some point in the summer to play second base.
