Russell Gage Dealing With Leg Injury
1 year agoTampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said wide receiver Russell Gage (leg) is dealing with a leg injury that he sustained in the offseason. However, Gage is improving and didn't need to start training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list, which is an encouraging sign. The 27-year-old missed the team's minicamp last month with his leg injury, and he's not fully past it. But as long as he doesn't suffer a setback during camp this summer, it seems likely that he'll be ready for Week 1. Gage won't carry much fantasy appeal as the No. 3 wideout behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin in Tampa now that quarterback Tom Brady is retired.
