Royals Acquire Tucker Davidson From Angels
Tucker Davidson from the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday in exchange for cash considerations. The move comes after the Angels designated Davidson for assignment last Thursday. The 27-year-old southpaw struggled in his time with the Halos this year, allowing 25 runs (23 earned) on 44 hits while walking 11 and striking out 31 in 31 2/3 relief innings over 18 appearances out of the bullpen. He also recorded his first two career saves. Davidson will now join Kansas City's bullpen in a long-relief role, which won't give him any fantasy appeal.
