Ross Chastain had a front-row seat for what was going on between Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin. However, the Chevy had his own problems trying to hold off a hard-charging Martin Truex Jr. Chastain managed to edge Truex Jr. out and achieved a third-place result that was unexpected. The No. 42 car was fast all night though. He finished ninth during Stage 1 and then third after Stage 2. Chastain was pretty close to the front throughout the race as his Chevy had the speed to keep up despite some of the higher tire-wear issues. Chastain showed he could again race with the best of NASCAR.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
