San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) remained out of practice on Thursday, according to Cam Inman of the Bay Area News Group. Pearsall hasn't practiced with the team since spraining the PCL in his knee back in Week 4, but he was running routes on a side field, so he's making some progress. Still, the 25-year-old former first-rounder will not be able to return this weekend when the team takes on the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium. It's unclear if Pearsall will make enough progress to be an option to make his return for a big Week 10 divisional matchup against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Nov. 9, but even if he does, he'll likely be on a snap count and would be an extremely risky fantasy play. With Pearsall likely out again in Week 9, Jauan Jennings will continue to operate as the Niners' WR1, with Kendrick Bourne serving as the No. 2.--Keith Hernandez
