Mitchell Robinson Practices Fully Thursday; Will Be a Game-Time Decision Friday
New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (injury management, ankle) was able to practice fully with the team on Thursday, and he'll be a game-time decision for Friday's matchup with the Bulls. Robinson traveled with the team on their three-game road trip with the hope that he could play at some point, and Friday's game in Chicago is the final game of the trip. Robinson has yet to make his debut this year due to "load management," so the team will be careful with his minutes as he works back to full speed. Last year, Robinson played just 17 games in the regular season, producing 5.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in just 17.1 minutes per game. Without Robinson, Ariel Hukporti has been getting extra playing time at center, along with Josh Hart and Karl-Anthony Towns in smaller lineups. Robinson's return has the potential to make a significant impact on the rotation if he can stay healthy this season.
