1 year agoAlongside Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Tutu Atwell, rookie Puka Nacua is believed to be in the competition for the No. 3 receiver role behind Cooper Kupp (hamstring) and Van Jefferson (knee). Nacua had a significant workload in the spring during organized team activities despite his rookie status, and nothing has changed in training camp this summer. Over the next few weeks without Kupp, Nacua will jump into an even bigger role alongside some veteran players. "I love what I've seen from Puka," receivers coach Eric Yarber said. "How physical he is, how fast he plays." The 22-year-old's physicality sets him apart from Atwell, but Atwell has to be considered the favorite at this point. At best, Nacua is a late-round flier in dynasty/keeper leagues in 2023 fantasy drafts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
