Puka Nacua Goes Off In NFL Debut
1 year agoLos Angeles Rams rookie wide receiver Puka Nacua had an amazing performance in his NFL debut in Week 1 against the division-rival Seattle Seahawks on the road on Sunday, catching 10 of his 15 targets for 119 yards in the 30-13 blowout victory. Nacua's catches and targets were easily both team-highs, while his 119 yards were tied with fellow wideout Tutu Atwell. The 23-year-old fifth-rounder from BYU was quarterback Matthew Stafford's favorite target, and that could continue for at least the next three weeks with Cooper Kupp (hamstring) on Injured Reserve. Fantasy managers should temper expectations for the rookie in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers, but he's certainly worth waiver-wire consideration this week.
