2 years agoDetroit Pistons guard/forward Alec Burks is set to remain in Motown for the 2023-24 campaign, with NBA insider Michael Scotto noting that the Pistons are expected to pick up the $10.5 million team option on his contract. Burks' performances were one of the few positives for Detroit during a miserable 17-65 campaign, as the 31-year-old averaged 12.8 points off the bench with 3.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists, shooting 41.4 percent from deep. It's the fourth straight season the well-traveled veteran has averaged 10-plus points per game as mostly a bench contributor.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
